Getting into the Groove!

Hola! Officially have spent one week in Costa Rica.  Have travelled from the big city of San Jose via two lane highway, one lane highway, paved road, gravel road, questionable road to Nosara.  Tucked in among the jungle and the howler monkeys is our new little neigborhood of 13 kids and counting.  Kids are enjoying the pool and the school.  We have only made it to the ocean once so far but Carter caught and rode two waves and is hooked!  Terry has started his new surfing career which is proving to be a challenge with lots of crazy currents (or so the locals say).
Sourcing food has been our biggest challenge so far but we hear things get alot better in November when "tourist" Nosara opens up and the organic market gets going (can hardly wait).  For now we rely on the SuperNosara which really is quite remarkable in what they have and yet don't have.  Branched out this evening and actually tried some meat which was pretty good so I guess maybe we don't have to become vegetarians afterall.
Meeting a ton of interesting people and kindred spirits.  Our neighbor down the street is here with 3 kids under 5 years as a single parent (her husband is about to be deployed to Afghanistan) so we are surrounded by lots of adventurous or crazy people will let you know which.
